Link Aadhaar card to Bank account and LPG connection

Sunday
Now our people will get introduced to Direct Benefit Transfer scheme for LPG in this month (December).
Now you have to link your Bank accounts, LPG consumer number to Aadhaar card.

Why this scheme introduced?
This scheme is introduced to answer a question "Why do you need Aadhaar card?"  If you wish to receive the subsidised LPG, you need to become a Cash Transfer Compliant Customer (CTC)  by linking your Aadhaar number to your bank account and LPG Consumer Number.

so how to do this?

Step 1: You need to acquire and fill the bank linking form which is named Form 1. Download HERE.
You need LPG linking form also Download HERE.

or goto Petroleum download section .

Step 2: The consumer under whose name the LPG is registered needs to fill the form. Give the exact 12-digit Aadhaar number in the form. You have to attach a copy of Aadhaar letter/ card when submitting the form to the bank.
The form can be deposited personally at home branch of your bank i.e. where your account is registered. Alternatively, you can also link your Aadhaar Number with your bank account through your distributor. Fill the form “Bank Account – Aadhaar Linkage Form (For LPG Consumer only)” and drop it in “Bank Form Drop Box” kept with your distributor. The forms are also available with your distributor.
If you submit the form personally at bank, an acknowledgment slip will be handed over to you, and you are sure your application is in the safe hands.
Step 3: Get your LPG linked to Aadhaar card
The final step is to link your Aadhaar number with your LPG consumer number. For this, you need to be ready with two things.
1. Name of the distributor
2. Your LPG Consumer Number.
You can find consumer number on your first page of DGCC booklet or on the recent cash memo handed over to you by the delivery boy.
You need to get Form 2 which is available on the same Petroleum and Natural Gas website. Fill it with capital letters using blue or black ink. It needs to be accompanied with two attachments: Copy of the first page of DGCC booklet and recent cash memo.
In case your address mentioned in your Aadhaar letter differs from the address already registered with LPG distributor, you need to attach a photocopy of your address proof.
Address proof can be any of the following:
  • Aadhaar (UID) letter
  • Lease agreement
  • Telephone bill
  • Electricity bill utility bill
  • Self declaration attested by Gazette Officer
  • Flat allotment or Possession letter
  • LIC policy
  • Driving license
  • Voter ID
  • Passport
  • Ration card
  • House registration document.
Please note that before you submit the form, you need to take a combined photocopy of Aadhaar letter and the filled up Form 2.
You are required to place the original Aadhaar letter on the left hand side, while your Form 2 will be on the right side adjacent to it.
The final combined photocopy must have your photo of the Aadhaar letter running on the left side corner with the bar code details.
You have six options for linking your LPG with Aadhaar card.
  1. Personally hand over the application to distributor. You can also drop the application in the prescribed boxes, in the petrol bunks belonging to the same company as your LPG provider - ie, HP, Indane or Bharath - whichever is yours.
  2. Post the application: If you don’t wish to go to the distributor's office or to the nearest petrol pump of the same oil company, you can send it by post to the following address:
IOC (Indane Gas): Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (Marketing Division), Indance Area Office, 4th floor, Utility  Building, JCW Road, Bangalore 560002, Karnataka.
HPC (HP Gas): Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd, Bangalore LPG Regional Office, No. 3 & 4, Whitefield Road, Mahadevapura PO, Bangalore, Karnataka - 560048
BPC (Bharat Gas): Bharat Petroleum Corporation LTD. DU PARC Trinity, 7th floor, No. 5, M.G.Road, Bengaluru 560 001
  1. Call Centre: Call on 1800-2333-555 and follow the instructions to register your Aadhaar number.
  2. Online:  Browse to www.rasf.uidai.gov.in  and register yourself by clicking on ‘Start Now’ box, located atthe right side of the page.  (However, for reasons unknown, this website was found to be very slow at the time of verifying.)
  3. IVRS:  You can directly call your respective company and follow the instructions of registration.
Indane Gas(IOC): 8970024365
HP Gas (HPC): 9964023456
Bharat Gas (BPC): 9483356789
     6.    SMS: Registration is just a text away. For this, first, you need to register your number with the Oil Company/ Gas agency. Please note that Bharat Gas customers should register the mobile number before hand. Once their number is registered manually with the authorities they can register their Aadhaar number via text.
For HPC/ IOC customers: REG <space> distributor telephone number with STD code without zero <space> consumer number (e.g. REG 1187654321 564321)
Once the mobile number is registered to LPG consumer number, customers of all the three Oil Companies can link the Aadhaar number via text. You need to type: UID <space> Aadhaar Number (eg. UID 32323232323232). The above text should be sent to the respective companies:
IOC (Indane Gas): 8970024365
HPC (HP Gas): 9964023456
BPC (Bharatgas): 57333 or 52725
You will immediately receive a confirmation saying your Aadhaar number is registered. For methods other than SMS, a confirmation will be sent to you in seven days. However you can anytime check your linkage status on the concerned Oil company websites
For Indane, click here: http://indane.co.in/check-aadhaar.php
Finally, check with your bank and ensure your bank account is Aadhaar-enabled.

TeamViewer 9

Saturday
TeamViewer Manager is an optional database tool that stores your partner details in a database that can also be shared over the network with other supporters.
Also includes sophisticated logging and reporting functionality for your connections. TeamViewer Manager is only included in the Premium licenses or higher. Without a license, this download is restricted to a total of five partners and may be used for trial purposes.

Features:

One solution for everything
While most competitors offer different packages for remote support, remote administration, training and sales (and also charge for them...) TeamViewer is the one-stop solution for everything you need: TeamViewer includes all modules in one simple and very affordable package.

Remote administration of unattended servers
TeamViewer can also be used to control unattended computers and servers. System service installations even allow remote reboot and reconnect.

File transfer
TeamViewer comes with integrated file transfer that allows you to copy files and folders to and from a remote partner - which also works behind firewalls

Highest security standard
TeamViewer is a very secure solution. All versions feature completely secure data channels with key exchange and AES (256 Bit) session encoding, the same security standard used by https/SSL.

Online status display
Are your team members in many different locations? Need to present your desktop or collaborate on a document? In the TeamViewer partner list you can see who is available and connect with them in one mouse click.

Remote support without installation
With TeamViewer you can remotely control any PC anywhere on the Internet. No installation is required, just run the application on both sides and connect - even through tight firewalls.

Remote presentation of products, solutions and services
TeamViewer allows you to present your desktop to a partner. Share live demos, products, and presentations over the Internet within seconds.

Works behind firewalls

The major difficulties in using remote control software are firewalls and blocked ports, as well as NAT routing for local IP addresses.
If you use TeamViewer you don't have to worry about firewalls: TeamViewer will find a route to your partner.

Browser based access
On the road and need to control a remote computer? Why don't you use TeamViewer Web Connector? The purely html and flash based solution can be used from nearly any browser and operating system.

Very competitively priced, free versions available
TeamViewer offers great value for low prices. TeamViewer even offers a free version for non-commercial use.

Optimized performance
Whether you have a LAN or dial-up connection, TeamViewer optimizes display quality and speed depending on your network connection.

Turbo C C++ for Windows 8 and 8.1

Monday

Follow the steps to install Turbo C in Windows 8:
Method #1:
3. Create a folder, for example „Turbo“ (c:\Turbo\)
4. Extract Turbo C++ into the Turbo folder (c:\Turbo\)
5. Run the DOSBox from the icon located on the desktop and type the following commands at the command prompt [Z]: mount d c:\Turbo\
Now you should get a message which says: Drive D is mounted as a local directory c:\Turbo\
6. Type d: to shift to Drive D
7. To run the install type: install.exe   and press 2x Enter

8. Enter the Source drive: D  and press Enter to continue

9. Enter the Source path:  \              and press Enter to continue

10. In directories specify where Turbo C files are copied. E.g.  D:\TC . When done go to start installation and press Enter

11. Successful installation – press any key to continue to view readme file

12. Successful installation – to exit press [ESC] and close DOSBox. Installation of Turbo C++ is done

Start TurboC++ in the DOSBox automatically:

1. For DOSBox versions older than 0.73 browse into program installation folder and open the “dosbox.conf” file in any text editor. For version 0.74 go to Metro (press key [WIN]) and click on “DOSBox 0.74 options“.
2. Scroll down to the very end, and add the lines in the picture, save, close and run DOSBox now.

3. Automatically mount and start Turbo C++3.0 in DOSBox

Please note:
Full screen: press [Alt] + [Enter]
When you exit from the DOSBox [precisely when you unmount the virtual drive where Turbo C++ 3.0 has been mounted] all the files you have saved or made changes in Turbo C++ 3.0 will be copied into the source directory (the directory which contains TC folder)
Don’t use shortcut keys to perform operations in TC because they might be a shortcut key for DOSBox also. E.g. [Ctrl]+[F9] will exit DOSBOX rather running the code.

How to use [Ctrl]+[F9] (“Run”) without closing down DOSBox
1. press [ctrl]+[F1] while running Turbo C++ to view/change the mapper commands.
2. click on “ShutDown”,
3. then (click) on “del”,
4. then (click) “add”
5. and then press “q” on your keyboard. Then click “mod1″ in the lower left corner to close DOSBox with [ctrl]+[q]
6. click on “save”
Now you can use [ctrl]+[F9] in Turbo C++ as usual and [crtl]+[q] to close DOSBox.
You can do the same with [ctrl]+[F1] (for topic search) by clicking on “mapper” and changing the command as described above.
To reset the mapping, just run the “Reset KeyMapper”-file in the DOSBox folder.

Method #2:
1. Download the Files HERE
2. Install TurboC for Win8 - TUHIN.exe
3. Run the TC from C:\TC\BIN\TC7.exe

Step by Step process for 2 step verification of GMAIL

Thursday
Sign-in to your Google account and go to the 2-step verification page. You can use the direct link or reach it via your Google account settings.
Click on the large blue Setup button and the guide walks you through the steps needed to setup the authentication layer. Basically it involves giving Google your mobile number and choosing the mode of code delivery (text or voice).
You don’t want to enter a code again and again for checking your email, so setup Google to remember your trusted devices for at least 30 days.

In the final step, activate 2-step verification for your Google account. Now, if you sign-in from an unrecognized device or computer, you will be asked for the code.
Here’s how the verification code prompt looks when you try to log-in:
Google also prompts you to create some application specific passwords. It’s for those apps you use to access your Google accounts from mobile devices and third-party email clients likeMS Outlook.
You can also add a trusted secondary mobile number to receive the verification codes, in case you lose your main phone or keep it somewhere else. Google also gives you backup codes to access your email accounts on the go when you might not have cell coverage. Thesepermanent codes do not expire and you can use them during such emergencies

Thanks to Brainiac
