Increase Internet speed using OpenDNS

Sunday
First we want to know What is meant by DNS and what is OpenDNS?
DNS-Domain Name System, It translates Internet domain and hist names to IP addresses.
DNS automatically converts te names which type in our browser to the IP address of web servers hosting sites.
OpenDNS:
It is a DNS resolution service which extends features like misspelling correction, phishing protection and content filtering.
Mispeeling correction means if the user types .og instead of .org it will automatically consider as .org.
Phishing Protection: Fake log in or fake website protection for more secure.

For example:
When user type net address in browser, lets say http://www.yahoo.com the request goes first to local ISP(InternetServiceProviders) and these DNS will translate the URL to numeric address lets say 209.131.36.158.
Now we can use the OpenDNS to increase our Internet speed.
